I have always strongly recommended attendance at trade shows. PRINT '09 would normally be the most significant trade show for the Printing Industry in the world. However, the current economy seems to predict a less than stellar showing at the Chicago show. Regardless, if you're in the Printing Industry you need to go to PRINT '09. Especially during these challenging times, those in the know are better equipped to handle the difficulties we are faced with. Networking with vendors, colleagues, and competitors can be invaluable. Attending seminars that are crafted to be especially relevant for the times will be time well spent. And just being exposed to the latest and greatest our industry has to offer - although many manufacturers are scaling sown this time around - is an opportunity that should be incorporated into your short term business plan.
I look forward to seeing you there at McCormick Place, Chicago. The show runs from September 11 - 16. I will be there from September 12-14.
